HERO SRL PROJECT
The HERO SRL was developed as a next-generation self-retracting lifeline for Guardian, focused on improving usability, durability, and the overall product experience while establishing a cohesive design language for the HERO platform.
Working closely with engineering, the design evolved through concept development, prototyping, and testing. Visual indicators were integrated to remain visible at height, helping users quickly identify the correct configuration and applicable safety standard.
Protected label locations, integrated surfaces, material transitions, and high-wear areas were considered throughout development, balancing usability with the performance, compliance, and manufacturing requirements of fall-protection equipment.
