SMARTWATCH PROJECT: FALSTER 2
Falster 2 evolved the original Falster smartwatch around a new, more compact internal module. The reduced size created an opportunity to refine the proportions of the entire watch, reducing case size, thickness, and bezel while maintaining the minimal design language.
Falster 2 demonstrates how improvements in technology can directly influence industrial design.
The smaller internal platform was used as an opportunity to improve proportion, comfort, and perceived thinness rather than simply reducing dimensions. The slimmer bezel increased the visual presence of the display, while the smaller case broadened wearability across a wider range of wrist sizes.
The final design retained the identity of Falster 1 while creating a noticeably more compact and refined second generation.
